Purchased in the fall of 1977. The first three years of its life with a previous owner, included some club racing and some personal work, which included a plated frame as well as a British Racing Green paint job. It had the factory dual seat, a rarity that made the bike more practical for day-to-day life. Following an immediate red paint job, the bike was used as a pleasure ride, and believe it or not, an off and on tour bike. The bike has been absolutely reliable over the past 25 years.

Particulars:
Nickel-plated the stand and swing arm
Re-laced both wheels (Borrani with stainless spokes)
Polished everything aluminum
Re-wired electrics
New period Lockheed Calipers
Master with a Grimeca (Grimeca master)
Brake shoes & pads
K&Ns
Tomasseli clip-ons (adjustable)
Grips
Passenger pegs
New Factory tach
Hella headlight
Sealed the fiberglass gas tank
Electronic ignition with new coils
Mounted new tubes and Dunlop 501s
Stainless Road & Race Conti replicas
Heads rebuilt to new by it’s original race mechanic
New rings
Rebuilt the carbs
Split the cases (checked and cleaned the bottom end and transmission)
New chain

This Sport runs and handles beautifully, starts first kick, doesn't smoke, and comes with the original Contis, Scarabs, brake lines, Brembo master, repair manuals, shop tools, 38t sprocket & new roller chain, solo seat base, and bits and pieces collected over the years. The headlight is siliconed in, as I cannot find a replacement Aprila JOD. The dual seat has been comfortable for 500 mile two up riding. The fiberglass is on its 7th or 8th paint job with a few blisters and spider cracks, and could probably use another. Frame has various chips showing. Header pipes have been re-plated, but still aren't perfect. This has been a totally enjoyable bike to hear, own, and ride.
