A unique and extremely desirable F1, one of the very first batch, hand built for world launch events. (Mike Soderland, well known racer and proprietor of "Gowanloch Ducati" remembers un-crating the bike when he was an apprentice!). This is frame 9 of 12 hand-made bikes that featured details that didnŐt make it to subsequent production models. These include an aircraft type filler cap on a hand made all alloy tank, Gianelli 2-1 pipe and 40mm carbs. It belonged to and was raced for a period by Saftune. It has benefited from fitment of big valves and more aggressive cams. This is a well-known bike with race history.
Over my period of ownership the bike has been meticulously maintained, having received a top-end rebuild, fork and shock rebuild by Mike (from Gowanloch), and most recently a complete restoration including paint by "Marty's". Much money has been spent. ZDN750*750000009.
